Like every January, the first month of the new year is a busy one from a trade show perspective. For some companies, there's not much downtime from one to the next. The Consumer Electronics Show kicked off 2026, followed by Retail's Big Show, the Interior Design Show Toronto, and Las Vegas Market, among other industry events. IMM Cologne returned after being cancelled the previous year due to the difficult economic situation furniture manufacturers were facing. Unlike earlier iterations, the trade fair presented a streamlined edition. Positive reviews point to its return in 2027, though it did receive some criticism.
