Just over a year ago, one of the largest and most influential furniture trade events in Europe cancelled its 2025 show just months before it was to take place. Shock waves rippled through the industry as word of the end of IMM Cologne spread. But its demise was only temporary. In January, show organizer Koelnmesse announced IMM Cologne would return in 2026, though pared-down and rejigged, and it would launch a new event tailored to different needs within the sector. That event, IDD Cologne, debuted this past October, and early numbers and feedback indicate it was a success. |
