Not a day goes by that Donald Trump isn't making headlines. While federal immigration raids and his use of military troops in cities have dominated the news cycle of late, Trump's trade policy has made its way back to the forefront. In recent days, he has made a number of tariff announcements on his social media platform, Truth Social, followed by the signing of executive orders. The furniture industry has not been spared in this round of presidential proclamations. Imported upholstered wooden products are facing a significant levy mid-month, which will further increase at the start of 2026. |
