In July, I sold our family home of nearly 15 years, making our property one of the 6,100 that changed hands — the most activity recorded in the month since 2021. There's much talk amongst real estate professionals that this country's most populous city is back to a slow recovery after a challenging winter and spring amid high economic uncertainty from the Canada-U.S. trade war. But while the surge in home sales echoes a return of buyer confidence, it's much too soon to label the recent turn of events as a comeback. Eyes are on the fall housing market in Toronto, and whether the shift will continue. |
